Section 226(3) · 1999 Constitution (2004 edition)
What Constitution says
(3) Every member of the Commission or its duly authorised agent shall - (a) have a right of access at all times to the books and accounts and vouchers of all political parties; and (b) be entitled to require from the officers of the political party such information and explanation which to the best of his knowledge and belief are necessary for the purposes of the investigation, the Commission shall state that fact in its report.
This is the 1999 Constitution as published in 2004. Later amendments aren't included yet, so a section may have changed since.
