Section 156(1) · 1999 Constitution (2004 edition)
What Constitution says
(1) No person shall be qualified for appointment as a member of any of the bodies aforesaid if - (a) he is not qualified or if he is disqualified for election as a member of the House of Representatives; (b) within the preceding ten years, he has been removed as a member of any of the bodies or as the holder of any other office on the ground of misconduct.
This is the 1999 Constitution as published in 2004. Later amendments aren't included yet, so a section may have changed since.
